The Visitors

The Folks are back in town and this time they've brought backup. Parents will touch down at Ferihegy just as we start the second half of the musical Elizabeth. It looks like we won't be meeting them at the airport. They have instructions on what taxi firm to call, how much to pay etc so it should all be sorted and smooth.

We have a spare room with a sofa bed so my Folks will be staying in our flat. For the other two, there's a short-term holiday apartment booked. It's small but looks decent, is in a good area about 5 mins walk from our place and (this is the bit I like) it has a balcony from which you can see the Duna. Excellent. Read more

Of course the familiar points run through my head when people pop over. Where to lunch, dine, drink. What are the best attractions in the area for the time of year. I really shouldn't worry about it. There's not a lot that can go wrong and most places are good for all of the above activities. I really do like Budapest and most of the people that visit also think it's great.

Some of the eateries I'm thinking of:
Menza
Balettcipo
Iguanas
Két Szerecsen
Café Kör
Mirakulum
Vista
Spoon
Leroy's
